RENDINE CONSTRUCTIONS HEADQUARTERS -
OFFICE REFURBISHMENT
GEELONG
COMMERCIAL OFFICE FIT OUT
INDUSTRIAL BUILDINGS

Rendine Constructions Headquarters represents a new beginning for the company, the site and the building. The transformation of a building made from odds and ends found within the building junkyard, originally housed on the site, required DE atelier Architects to consider how to develop a shared understanding and aesthetic. This has been achieved through the insertion of two bold and refined transitionary elements. The first a large space frame defining the entry and announcing the transformation of the building and the second the stair tower element linking the single storey entry building with the first and second storey office areas within the old factory. Through the process of passing through these new elements the building as a whole becomes more united and coherent. The celebration of the detail and construction within the building provides affirmation of the skill and endeavour the client, as a builder, can deliver to their clients.
