Douro Street Warehouse Development, North Geelong involved the design and delivery of a new warehouse and office facility within an established industrial precinct. DE atelier Architects were engaged to provide architectural design and documentation for a purpose‑built industrial building incorporating warehouse space, ground‑floor offices, amenities and associated support spaces.

The building was designed using tilt‑up precast concrete construction, providing a robust and efficient structural solution suited to the industrial context. The internal layout accommodates flexible warehouse operations, with integrated office and meeting areas positioned to support day‑to‑day business functions. Universal access requirements were incorporated throughout the ground floor, including compliant amenities and clear circulation paths.

The project responded to site constraints, including flood‑affected land, with all works designed in accordance with City of Greater Geelong consent conditions and specialist consultant advice. The outcome is a functional, durable industrial facility that balances operational efficiency with contemporary architectural detailing and regulatory compliance.
