K1 Residences, built on a 600sqm inner urban site on Union Street near Albert Park Lake, is a luxury apartment building featuring 13 whole level dwellings over 13 levels. Design concept was to provide of
suburban house within an apartment building, conceived as ‘skyhomes’ the façade incorporates layered planters, and green wall sat the entry and up the core , the building will evolve over time to resemble a
modern version of the leafy inner suburban street.

DE atelier Architects were involved from concept all the way through design and construction in the delivery of this project including design of all interiors. Incorporating a two level basement and a roof top swimming pool the project demonstrates our ability to deliver complex design and documentation outcomes and the management of a broad interdisciplinary project team.

Completed for $15.5M dollars under a novated D&C model this project also demonstrates are ability to work alongside the construction team to deliver a project to a tight budget while maintaining design integrity and a focus on overall quality demanded of a luxury product such as K1.
