The Roslyn Road project involves the adaptive reuse and renovation of an existing residential building to create a purpose‑designed childcare centre that supports learning, care and everyday routines for young children. The design prioritises safety, accessibility and clarity of movement, reworking the existing layout to accommodate age‑appropriate learning spaces, staff areas and amenities. Internal spaces are organised to encourage supervision and flexibility, while maintaining a calm and legible environment.

Strong connections to outdoor play areas support indoor–outdoor learning and promote engagement with natural light, landscape and fresh air. Materials and finishes are selected for durability, comfort and ease of maintenance, ensuring longevity in a high‑use educational setting. The project adopts a sensitive architectural approach, retaining the scale and character of the existing building while introducing contemporary interventions that support its new civic role within the neighbourhood.
